In my latest episode Beauty Basket, Youtube Makeup Artist Gayana, Celebrity Brow Artist Nikki & I showed you what skin care products we use. Since filming I’ve tried out 6 new items that I love & have added to my skin care regime. I’ve decided to share with you what those are & where you can get yours. I have an amazon prime account so I order most of my stuff from there, but you can always do a google search to purchase else where. Comment & let me know if you’ve tried any of these or have any suggestions for me!
1) DoTERRA Lavender Essential Oils
Up until last month, I’ve only used essential oils for aromatherapy purposes. Since it’s been so hot in Los Angeles, my skin has been getting irritated. I started putting 2-3 drops of lavender oil into my day & night moisturizer and it really helps with irritation & redness. An added bonus, lavender is good for stress! Buy Me!
2) Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herb and Rosewater
Gayana talked about this product on the episode & I rushed out to buy it! I put this spray on in the morning on top of my moisturizer, on top of my makeup, through out the day & at night before I go to sleep. It keeps your skin very hydrated and smells amazing. Buy Me!
3) Supergoop! Forever Young Hand Cream with Sea Buckthorn SPF 40
LA traffic means hours a day in your car & many of us forget about our hands. I want to keep my hands wrinkle free, looking as young as possible, so this hand cream with SPF 40 is perfect. This cream is light weight & doesn’t have a strong smell that most sunscreens have, which i really appreciate because I hate that smell. Buy Me!
4) Rodial Bee Venom SPF 30 Day Cream
If you’ve watched the episode you know that I am a fan of the Rodial line. I liked the moisturizer I was using before but wanted to try something thicker, I really like heavy creams! The Bee Venom Day Cream is definitely thicker but ironically still feels light. The pump is also better, but it’s definitely pricier. My skin stays hydrated for longer periods of time through out the day and it does plump the skin & evens out skin tone. Buy Me!
5) OriginsOriginal Skin™ Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
I’ve never tried any origins products and was interested in their masks when Nikki was talking about hers! I went to Sephora the next day conincidentaly received this mask as a sample. It is one of my favorites masks I’ve used so far! It doesn’t leave your face feeling dry like other face masks & it’s easy to take off. You have to apply it, leave it on for 10 mins, wet it little and rub in like a face wash, & then wash it off. It does have a tingle to it so I wouldn’t advise for sensitive skin types. My skin always feels smooth & it really does make your pores appear smaller. There are also beads which makes the mask work like an exfoliator simultaneously. Buy Me!
6) Embryolisse Concentrated Lait Cream
This is my favorite product out of the 6 that I’ve started using! It’s a French line & I believe it’s a moisturizer, but I use it as a primer & It works magic! I have combination skin so it really helps in the T-zone since I tend to get a bit oily there. It’s a thick moisturizer, super hydrating so I wouldn’t suggest it for oily skin types. It makes my makeup look flawless and a little goes a long way with this product! Buy Me!
